Hello Friends!

My wife Sylvia Deleon-Muzzy and I share a wonderfully blended family here in San Marcos with our 3 daughters. Sylvia is a local Real Estate Agent and San Marcos native who stays active in the community through her support of local non-profits, and school activities. Our oldest daughter Jessie is a product of San Marcos Schools, Graduated San Marcos High School, and is currently attending Texas State University. Our middle child Annie, is a Junior at San Marcos High School, and a proud member of the Rattler Band.  Annie has her heart, and our money, set on Texas A&M.

As a San Marcos resident of 27 years, I am no stranger to our District. I am a former San Marcos High School Special Education Teacher, and Head Wrestling Coach.  

I was born in Temple Texas, and grew up as an “Army Brat”.  I attended Public Schools in 4 States, and was educated by the Department of Defense Dependents School System (DoDDS) in 3 Countries. Upon graduation of High School (Bowie-Austin), I served 5 years as a Military Police Officer (ABN), and transitioned to San Marcos to attend Southwest Texas University for an Undergraduate Degree.  I have owned several businesses over the years. Currently, I am a home builder in the Texas Hill Country.
